The basic idea of A/3: Live and Unreleased is that, since both of Arcade's proper albums had been taken out of print by Epic as of 2001, a collection of live tracks, outtakes, and demos would at least succeed in getting the best material from those two studio albums back in the marketplace. It's not a bad listen, since the sound quality on most of the selections is pretty good, and the record kind of functions as a de facto best-of.
