Ted, nice to hear you play the original Lola by the Kinks with Coca Cola used instead of Cherry Cola.

    Hey Ted,
Love listening to you but.....I tune out on Beatles and Elvis hours. I am from the generation of the Beatles; in fact, 1150 CKOC prized me by attending a Beatle concert and I love them. Unfortunately, I've lost some appreciation for them. The reason for this is I find their music being played too often...too much; particularly with the 2 hours of devoted time on the weekend. 1150 wakes me up every morning at 5:15 am and I know you start at 6:00 am.....I find the venue of music changes at around 5:20 am when I hear the first Beatle song. Just sayin'. You're the best Ted!!!! Take care......

@sherrys_2821 @sherrys_2821 - I too tune out the Beatles & Elvis hours. As much as I enjoy some of the Beatles music they truly are OVERPLAYED on CKOC ditto for Elvis. My favorite time to listen to CKOC is when they play American top 40 only because your guaranteed at least a few hours of no Beatles or Elvis songs being played and you get to truly hear a diverse playlist of music that CKOC doesn't seem to play very much of otherwise.

      sherrys,
I THINK THE BEATLES ARE THE GREATEST BAND EVER, THEY ARE VERY TALENTED,WHY NOT 2 - 3 HRS OF THEIR SONGS SPREAD OVER THE WEEK END.
TED LEAVE THE BEATLES WHERE THEY ARE, OTHER LISTENERS ENJOY HEARING THEM.

I think Ted is a "gentle" man. If you truly pay attention, you will "get" his humour.

    Hi Ted,
Have to agree with the negative comments about the Beatles. Like a lot of their music but a whole hour of none stop...........too much. At least on the Elvis hour we get to hear people talk about him and a lot of other trivia and little heard music from him. Besides you can never have to much Elvis.............LOL

    Hi Ted,

I listen to you after my shift( 6:30am.) on my way home from work, since the mid 90's.

I lived the music of the 50's and 60's.

    Really like "Looking Back".

Keep the Beatle music going, especially the early 60 stuff.

I enjoy both you and Rockin' Ray on Saturdays.

    It's music heaven!

    Thanks for the memories!
