Just catching up!

Me again.  Lots going on these days.

First of all, I would like to congratulate my friends, Jamie and Lily, who got married this past weekend.   They're off to Greece for two weeks.  That should be an amazing honeymoon!  Perhaps I'll get them to report back as one of you lucky K-Lite listeners might be going there soon!  The dinner was wonderful.  It was at a beautiful Vietnamese restaurant in Toronto.  I ate, and ate, and ate some more, as did my wife.  Interestingly enough, on the way home, Jenn (wife) insisted that we stop at McDonald's...Even after all that food!  Such is life, I guess, when you're 7 months pregnant.

Have you finished your taxes yet?  2 days to go.  My accountant phoned me on the weekend to tell me that I'd be getting a refund.  A modest one, but a refund none-the-less.  Oh the decisions about what to do with it.  Not really!  Given that we purchased a home last year and have a baby due in July I think that money is already spent! 

And on the home front,  the renovations are almost done!  As of this moment, all that remains are the stairs.  This reno project (8 rooms!) has lasted almost a year.  If I had known at the time that it was going take this long, we might not have purchased the house.  Oh well, live and learn.  And learn, I have!  This weekend we finished the baby's room.   ¼ round and vents painted and installed.  Now we need to furnish it.  I don't think the baby can sleep on the floor.  I check with the Children's Aid on that one.

GO HABS GO!  Game 3 tonight on Philly.  Since the play seems to be getting rougher, I think they should play Greg Stewart.  He likes to fight and hasn't seen much ice time since he was called up from Hamilton, and none of that time has been in the playoffs!  We'll see.

Keeping with sports...Congrats to the Jays on ending their 6 game skid!  Although, I don't really care as I'm not much in to baseball.
