A Star is Born!!!

A man can't take a few weeks off without people asking if he's still working!  Yes, I've been away for a few weeks getting to know my new daughter.  Laurel Rebekah Sanders Shuttleworth was born on July 4, 2008.  We briefly discussed naming her Liberty or America, but we felt that Laurel was better.  I was a bit of a surprise because she was due July 28^th.  I guess surprise is an odd word to use because my wife, Jenn, had been pregnant since November!

The last two weeks have been amazing! As a first-time father I have learned a lot, and the learning, no doubt, will continue!  We have pictures, which I will post when I figure out how.  Or, better yet, join me on Facebook and see them there.  Feel free to offer advice - it seems everyone that has kids is an expert anyway!
